插花工作的美感與學習

蒙特梭利教育一直鼓勵孩子自己動手去做,發展動作協調能力、邏輯順序,培養專注力,以達到獨立。「插花」是屬於蒙特梭利教室中環境照顧的活動,可以引發孩子意識到自己是環境中的一份子,主動照顧環境,並發展對美的感受。
孩子與父母一起選購花材,不但可以認識各式各樣的花材,也能藉由孩子們的手,讓教室更美麗。當孩子與家長一起選購花材後,還有一件很重要的事情要做,就是要一起練習如何介紹這些花材,這樣的練習除了讓孩子知道自己所選購的花名之外,還同時練習了孩子的口條以及上台介紹的勇氣。
Montessori education always encourages children to engage in hands-on activities, developing their coordination, logical sequencing, and concentration to achieve independence. “Flower arrangement” is one of the activities in a Montessori classroom that focuses on environmental care. It helps children recognize themselves as part of their surroundings, take initiative in caring for their environment, and develop an appreciation for beauty.
When children and parents select flowers together, they not only become familiar with a variety of floral materials but also contribute to making the classroom more beautiful with their own hands. After purchasing the flowers, another crucial step is to practice introducing the chosen flowers. This practice not only helps children learn the names of the flowers they have selected but also improves their speaking skills and builds confidence in presenting in front of others.
